Research InterestsI graduated in August 2002 from the University of Bristol with a PhD in experimental cognitive psychology (advisor: Sue Gathercole). From 2000 to 2002, I held a joint research appointment, funded by a grant from the NSF, at the University of California Berkeley (Department of Bioengineering) and the University of California San Francisco (Department of Surgery). From 2002 to 2006, I held a postdoctoral research position, also funded by the NSF, at the University of California Santa Barbara, working with Mary Hegarty. From January 2006 to April 2007, I was a lecturer in psychology at Curtin University, Western Australia. I took up my lectureship at Dundee in May 2007. I study spatial cognition across a variety of domains and tasks.
