Research Interests

My research interests include phonetic theory, laboratory phonology, prosodic phonology, articulatory and acoustic modelling of prosodic effects in speech. I am working on intonation, coarticulation, and speech production modelling of Northern Australian languages (with Jonathan Harrington and Andy Butcher) and on the relationship of prosody to discourse structure in English.
