Research Interests

As an honours students I am still starting out, however remain broadly interested in anything that falls under or can be connected to sociolinguistics and critical linguistics. I am very keen to follow the development of corpus linguistics, hopefully into the creation of an Australian national corpus. Having worked shortly as a research assistant in IT and language technologies has shown me the practical contributions of linguists! I am also interested in promoting the discipline in general to the wider public, which I try to do via my website.
