Research Interests

Im currently an undergraduate with a keen interest in phonetics and forensics. I am also currently completing my psychology degree and have a social psychology backgraound. I hope that together, my areas of research will allow me to understand things such as how emotion can be conveyed in speech and what nonverbal sounds can be used to as identifying factors. Currently I am working on an undergraduate project on the acoustics of laughter and trying to establish the within and between speaker variations that are present in a lab sample.
