SummerFest '07: Speed PapersSpeed Paper Submissions Now ClosedThis year's Speed Papers session will be held on Wednesday 5 December, 2007. The speed paper concept is somewhat like speed dating - you get 4 slides and just 4 minutes to tell the assembled audience about a project you are already doing, or would like to do. Everyone in the audience has a form on which they can scribble relevant comments and feedback on your project. You then get to do the same for the other speed papers. The speed papers session is a fun, fast-paced way to get to know others at SummerFest. Anyone can take part and a template of the slides is available below to help you prepare your session. Speed paper presentations will be printed for distribution at the conference, and will be made available on the SummerFest website. ProgramThe program for the Speed Papers session is now available. Please click here to the download the program. All presenters are asked to please check that the details in the program are correct, and that you will be able to present at the given time. Please send us an email if you wish to make any amendments.Submission ProcessIf you would like to present a speed paper at SummerFest '07 you must submit a title and 200 abstract for your proposed paper by Monday 24 September, 2007. Please email your title and abstract submissions to sfest07@hcsnet.edu.au using the following naming convention in the subject line of your email:[surname]_[initial]_[event]Where [event] is SP (Speed Paper).

The idea is to adopt one of these approaches and discuss the material within four slides -ā there is no need to try to cram all of these different things into four minutes!
