Introduction

The aim of the symposium is to provide, for one intensive day, an intimate forum in which researchers from around the globe can discuss the effects of intersensory processing on perception and action. Features of the symposium include a capped number of participants, multiple poster sessions and an afternoon discussion on future research directions led by our two pre-eminent keynote speakers. As such, the day represents a unique opportunity for students and established researchers both to take stock of current findings and anticipate avenues of future intersensory research.
