Meals and RefreshmentsLunch, morning and afternoon tea will be served in an ante-room off the Seminar Room and the surrounding public space at the times designated in the program. Workshop DinnerThe Workshop Dinner will be held at 6:30pm on Thursday, 13 September at I Thai Restaurant , 19 Lime Street, King Street Wharf (Darling Harbour, map available here). Travel SupportWorkshop participants who have been awarded travel support are asked to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements and submit receipts to Rosemary Eliott at the workshop who will arrange for cheque/EFT reimbursement. Any additional receipts should be posted to Rosemary as soon as possible after the workshop. Please note that if you will be driving to the workshop, we can only reimburse receipts for petrol expenses (not kilometre allowance). A cab from Sydney Airport to the ATP will cost about $30.00. The entrance to the ATP for taxis is from West Link Road. Airport Link is a fast and convenient way to reach the centre of Sydney, and trains run approximately every 10 minutes. To travel by train to the ATP, take the Airport Link to Central Railway Station (8 minutes) and then take a train to Redfern Railway Station (2 minutes). Exit via Platform 10 at Redfern Station, walk past the WaterTower apartment block and follow the walkway through to the Australian Technology Park (5-10 minute walk). For further information see http://www.airportlink.com.au/. Car parking at the Australian Technology ParkThe entrance to the ATP car park is from Garden Street. A Pay and Walk ticketing system is in operation. Collect a ticket from the boom gate and drive through to the car park. Prior to leaving the ATP please ensure your parking has been paid and validated at any of the ticket pay stations. These can be located in the following areas: Bay 8 - Locomotive Workshop Bay 4 - Locomotive Workshop Bay 16 - Locomotive Workshop Biomedical Building on Central Ave Parking Fee for 3 hours or more: $15.00. Please note Parking Ticket Pay Stations accept: $20, $10, $5 notes and $2, $1, 50c, 20c, 10c coins only. There is also on-street parking around Alexander Street and surrounds, and you can enter the ATP by walking through the 'Deliveries - Bus & Taxi Entrance' on Henderson Road. |
